Stress Test
On the stress test, I scored a 13 out of 24. The score means I have my life fairly in control, but some habits can cause some unnecessary stress. School is the number one thing that stresses me out, mostly because there is just too much going on for one person. The classes I take mostly stress me out because I try to push myself and do Dual Credit and Pre-AP classes and they are not very easy. English Dual Credit is stressful because I am going to be writing a lot of papers. History Dual credit is also stressful because there is a lot of reading each week, and I also have other classes to worry about. Another thing that stresses me out is having to remember to do things. The reason that stresses me out is because if I do not remember to do a task, like homework, it will not get done. Grades stress me out as well. I do not like to get bad grades because my ranking will then go down as well as my GPA and I am trying to be in the top 10% of my class. Clubs and extra activities can be stressful for me because I do have a lot of classwork and adding things like Student Council and National Honors Society can be a lot for someone. Especially since the clubs can take up some of the free time I like to use to get some classwork done. How I deal with my stress is I try to break things up. Like I will do certain assignments on one day and others the next day so I wont have so much to do in one night. I also use my free time to get things done so I do not fall behind and get even more stressed. The way I deal with remembering things is I set alarms on my phone or write them down in my notes where I will see it and remember to do it.

I think its cool that it says you have your life under control. You would be the person somebody to go to for there stressing and help them out by showing how you deal with your stress.
ReplyDeleteThese are some great ideas! Using your phone for reminders is great as well as spreading the time for assignments out so you don't have to do it all at once. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI understand completely what you are saying about the dual credit classes because I am in them as well and it is not easy. It is very hard to manage to balance both classes and try to keep up with my high school classes. This is very stressful.
