Budget

The surprising thing about my budget was the fact that I will be able to barely support myself. I did expect things to be expensive, but not as much as it was. I did not expect that I would not be paying for my insurance at this time, I thought I would start paying for that when I got to college. I am honestly not too ready to take on some of these responsibilities like paying for all of these different bills and start working, because I have done neither before. When it comes to the responsibility of the school work, I am ready for that responsibility because I do a pretty good job keeping organized and getting things done. I did realize that I am going to have to rely more on myself and not anyone else because I am going to be going into the real world and I need to become more of an adult. To prepare for those expenses later, I could get a job now and use those earnings to save up for things like my book expenses.

  1. That would be a good way to help yourself prepare, to me it sound like you are pretty well prepared and will do well.

  2. I think that no one is ready to take on this responsibility but once you get in the flow of things and learn what works and what doesn't then things won't be nearly as bad.

  4. Getting a job now and saving up the earnings will definitely help you with books. It would be a big weight lifted off of your shoulders when you are actually in college.
