Job
On the website http://www.snagajob.com/ I found that there are more job opportunities for teen than I expected. The website was easy to work and I found quite a few jobs that I would actually consider doing. I found a part-time job at the Taco Cabana in Waxahachie as apart of the cleaning crew. This job is appropriate for teens, especially for one of the first few jobs a teen will have, because it is more of a job you get to learn some responsibility before taking on more responsibility with a job where you are a manager where you have to have more experience. The job is also appropriate for students at this age since it is part-time, and many people at this age would have to take a job that works with their school schedule as well as their personal schedule. To prepare for a possible interview, I would of course take a resume that lists my experience and all of my accomplishments. A good way that I could prepare for a possible interview would be to think of the possible questions that they may ask me and just prepare some answers up for the interview. A good way to prepare for a job interview would to also to do some research on the job and know what to expect and what it is all about as well as the company. Picking out a professional outfit for the interview can help because it makes you look prepared as well as nice instead of showing up in a laid back outfit looking sloppy, then they might not even consider hiring you. The level of difficulty on finding a job online was not that bad. There are tons of jobs that I easily found in my are in just a couple of tries. The difficult part is finding a job that suits you personally, what you would be comfortable doing, what fits your schedule, and what kind of salary you would like to be earning.

That job sounds alright, it doesn't sound like the most fun option, but it would help you to learn the responsibility that comes with other jobs, good choice.
ReplyDeleteI agree, that some teens do have to learn responsibility. I think that having a job itself will teach students to be responsible no matter what the job is.
